I bet that tail got nipped when he was courting the girls last fall & the Ol Man ( who recently died) got an eye full!! Well now that he is the Stud Muffin----- he can do what he wants to!! Come mid summer there will be baby Blue Spineys ALL over the yard !! I'll holler! Just for the heck of it-- heres that pic of the Blue that escaped from the yard & got INTO the pen. I guess a tall wall is a barrier to overcome-- even if it is the wrong side !!
It can get close to her-- maybe from 4-5 ft & she is all right. This was taken with a cheap telephoto lens @ 250-300mm & hand held.
