speedingbandit Mar 26, 2005 10:02 PM

My pastel male has had blood around his vent quite a few times, as well as there being blood smears on the paper.. now this is when he is with a female, but i havent witnessed any lockups. I was wondering if the females might be running off when hes tryin to spear them quickie style and hurting him.. I was told to check him and maybe give a shot of batryl and keep him to himself for awhile..any advice would be appreciated.. hope ya read this scott j........

...it's not all that unusual to get capillary ruptures during copulations...sometimes enough to be rather alarming...but no worries about the male exsanguinating to death...

In fact I'd like to see a little bloodletting from my eunich Mojave or Pied for that matter...

So sometimes it's kind of a good sign!
