Bathing Leo

l_l3lackwolf_l Mar 27, 2005 02:57 AM

Hi all,

just to ask if its normal for a leo to bath himself?
I mean, my juv´s schedule is: morning- jump into the dish of water and stay there, facing the lamp, basking. afternoon-sleep in shelters. evening- have a walk around the cage. night- eat 1 mealworm 3 crickets...He normally waits for me to feed him in the water dish again.
Is he trying to stay fresh? did i get a very clean attitude one? or does he have a problem i should discuss with his vet?
Thanks for your time,
Sheri

Don't worry mine like to sit in the water dish too. I've even given mine actual bathes which they seem to like.
