female bullying male? wierd HELP!

I HAVE BEEN BREEDING HERE IN ENGLAND FOR A WHILE NOW BUT SOMETHING STRANGE HAPPENED TODAY. I HAVE A FEMALE WHO BRED WITH MY MALE LAST YEAR. EVERYTHING ALWAYS GOES WELL. UNTIL TODAY THAT IS. I PUT THEM TOGETHER AND HE DID HIS USUAL MAN THING WITH ALL THE BOBBING AND THAT AND SHE STARTED DOING THE HEAD THING BUT MORE LIKE CRAP PRESSUPS. ANYWAY, HE STARTED RUNNING ROUND HER AND ALL OF A SUDDEN HER BEARD CAME OUT AND SHE FLATTENED HERSELF DOWN AND WENT FOR HIM. I COULDNT BELIEVE IT AS THIS HAS NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE. HE WAS TRYING TO SHOW HER WHO WAS BOSS BUT SHE WAS FIGHTING BACK. IS THIS NORMAL AND IF SO WHAT DOES THIS MEAN. I AM HOPING FOR A GOOD YEAR AND SO A FEW TIPS FROM PEOPLE WOULDNT GO AMISS. I DONT WANT TO HAVE THE PSYCO DRAGON FROM HELL. JUST ONE THAT GIVES ME A FEW BABIES EVERY NOW AND THEN. LOL. PLEASE HELP

It could be she isn't ready to bred. Separate them for a week then introduce the female into his cage, this may work better.
