This vermillion saddle color is striking in a clean milksnake phase animal, particularly on the yellow ground color! I have noticed others talking about it, when did it appear?

I first saw vermilion and yellow milksnake thayeri at Tim Gebhard's place back in 1997. They were CB 1996 juveniles, I'm not certain though if that was the first year he produced them. I've never seen it on a leonis morph. I think it looks more dramatic on a milksnake. DV
