You have certainly helped me to appreciate the irregular patterned examples such as this beauty... you can certainly expect me to purchase a few from you in the near future. That is if you produce any prime examples that you are willing to let go of! Be sure to let me know when that moment arrives!

Nearly unbelieveable that one animal such as the thayeri has such amazing variability and potential. Don't think I will ever get over it. Thanks so much Dan, for all that you have done and are willing to share with us. As I have told you before, your work is VERY much appreciated and well respected by many like myself.

Thanks a lot Mike for the kind and inspiring words. It's nice to know fellow thayeri aficionados enjoy my snakes. DV

That has got to be one of the nicest looking Thayeri I have ever seen! I would love to see that pattern in white....hint, hint.
Good Luck breeding this year Dan. I am sure you will have some nice ones to show off this Summer.

WOW.........Good luck to all on this breeding season and thanks for the all the great posts. Now my wish list has just gotten larger. For the breeders that do shows, it would be great to hear how the mexicana spp. sales are doing this summer and fall.
Happy Breeding,
Uncloudy

Thanks Uncloudy for the kind words. Thayeri are still very popular kingsnakes. They're hard to beat for beauty. This year should be a good year.......I hope. DV

Thanks John. That little buckskin leonis has very light centered saddles. That's how it starts. It could hold the genes to some wild patterns. DV

I really have to give you credit for the idea of working the hollow saddles. It was a great idea. I'm not a usually a fan of pattern morphs but these are fabulous. Like everyone else, I'll be anxious to see this season's animals.

Thanks Mark. I'm anxious to see what happens this season too. Hopefully it will be a great year for thayeri. DV
