These pics are several months old, I have added some stuff to my cages since the pics were taken. If you want to build these, I have instructions and construction pics on: www.freewebs.com/herptips/

i am interested in your rack type project on your web page but for the lights o you leave the light out in teh open for the animals to get burned or do you have a guard over them, also would the temps for the lights be suitable for leos, corn snakes and ball pythons, and how much does the whole project cost

The lights are 10 watt halogens, you can buy the set of 5 at Lowe's or Home Depot. They do have a cover over them so the animals can't touch them. They also keep a very good temp. about 95-100 directly under and the cool side of the cage hits low - mid 70's. I don't use the lights in my ball python cages (same as these) I use flex watt heat tape. The total cost of the cage (without the fake rock and dividers)is about $200 including the 1/4" glass that has to be cut. These units are very HEAVY! I have built several of these and they have worked out great for my collection. If you build them post pics so we can see your work!

Hill, just a Q... are you a teacher? hehe I'm asking because it looks like a classroom in those pics you have.

Yep, I thought you already knew that Dusty! Where have you been hiding out, you haven't been hanging around the forums as much as you used to.

This is an older picture,I've got a better looking humid hide now and the rock hide was relaced with a terracotta hide.

I have a 20 gallon tank that is a work in progress.

I'm going to be putting some rock ledges on the back wall, and replacing the background to a more forest type one, instead of a desert theme. I'm also going to be adding some more plants. It's really not much, but it's good for an example I guess.
