Ok, so i have a misty mate and it's got a weird smell to it. I wanna use it for my lizards, but i'm not too sure wut the smell is whether it's mold or wut-not, so i'm considering giving it a light bleaching, but i'm not sure how safe this is since my lizards will eventually be consuming wut comes out of it. Any thoughts on how i should go about this? or if i should use another type of cleaning substance?

Thanks.

Bleaching it would be fine, i would just use a 10% bleach solution (1 part bleach to 9 parts water). Rinse really well. Maybe at the end of each day you could open your misty mate and let it dry out. This low of an amount of bleach residue wont do a thing to your beardies.
