Uromastyx eggs!!!

uromastyx Mar 28, 2005 06:10 AM

I'm so excited my female Uromastyx acanthinurus has laid 11 eggs!!! She has stood on one and popped it with her claws but 10 good eggs!!! I am all in a flap now cos she didn't look gravid I am not THAT prepared. I have incubators set up but wity eggs already in them and the temps are too low for uromastyx incubation so I'm gonna have to set up another incubator. I've been reading up as much info as I can but I would like an estimate as to how long it SHOULD take for the eggs to hatch if I incubate them at about 93 degrees? Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Congratulations!!! I hope they all hatch out to be beautiful little babies!

There's good incubation info here at Deer Fern Farms. There's tons of pages available also if you search on the Uromastyx Home Page.
