I'm relatively new to BTs so I'm not gonna give you advice on what is going on, but the people at bluetongueskinks.net will be able to help you.

You really need to have the skink treated. This condition - most likely mouth rot - is most often treated with topical applications of disinfectant (providone iodine/betadine) and by then applying a topical antibiotic. The BTS may need to be treated internally with antibiotics as well. The only way to be sure of which course is needed is to take the skink to a vet who treats reptiles.
This is not a unusual condition - it can be caused by injury or bacteria. It is not difficult to treat either - but it can ultimately lead to the demise of many herps. With the mouth being so sore, most herps won't eat/drink properly.
Going 2 months and not doing anything is really sad.

What happened? Injury that you remember? Just appeared out of nowhere? Pictures would help...
