I wouldn't normally ask this type of question, but i have an extra Reptarium laying around...

I have an extra Reptarium lying around and I was wondering if using it for a juvenile Boa would be okay? It is higher then it is long and wide, so letting him climb will not be a problem. I am just concerned about him pushing through the mesh. I wouldn't dare put an adult in one, but a juvenile I was thinking would be ok. Has anyone had any experiences with this type of enclosure for a juvenile Boa?

While most pet owners start out this way, it is not really recommended.

If I were you, I would make a nice tropical setup for amphibians and/or geckos. I've been wanting to work with poison dart frogs for a while now...
Of course you would need to play with humidity if keeping that screen cover.

If you know you have the space, time, money and wherewithall to get a good cage soon, then it shouldn't be a problem if you maintain it right.
