anyone ever get to the point they think that their gravid female will never lay

i recieved a gravid female she shows signs of being gravid (swelling in abdomen,turning on her back occasionally laying in the lay box)but when i recieved her the guy said shes due to lay any day, any hour but its been at least 30 days and now the frustration is kicking in

Don't worry she'll lay. Some females may go a few days past 30. I had one drop at 37 days last year... this year she went 33 days. Remember that the 30 day thing is approximate.
