i have housed snakes together before and had no problems, but i have had a few cases where the snakes would stress each other out and cause problems or fight... it really just depends on the snakes...
but me personally... i would not do it...

Housing 2 boas together is questionable as cannibalism can and does happen, not to mention stress induced by the animals being forced to cohabitate and the potential spread of disease. Also issues such as if one animal regurges how do you know which one did it so you can then treat it properly? Or if you find a questionable looking stool? How do you know which animal passed it?

Its a bad idea 100% to house two different species.

I hope your post was meant as a joke and the pic that isn't showing up is the boa that ate the ball.

Can I house my boa and my gerbil together? They both like aspen shavings and the boa acts very happy to see it.

I posted these back when it happened, but it seems like a good time to post again. Everyone is having babies now, and I want to drive the point home....KEEP THEM SEPERATE. DO not skimp on caging and keep neonates together.
ENJOY!!

Was this one of your boas? Did the boa survive (not the one in the stomach)? I guess it pays to use a shoebox rack. Thanks for posting

Despite strong oposition from animal rights groups, the one that ate the other had its feeding tube removed shortly after the incident.
