Fringe-toed..

these are so neat.I'm pretty sure this is the Coachella Valley Fringe-toed.But I got a couple nice shots of him.He would run from me for about a foot,then just wiggle into the sand and stay perfectly still,so I was able to pick him up and hold him,get a good look at him.He was very personable.

here he is from the top view,blends very well-(as most all those lizards do in their habitat).

heres what he looked liked when he would wiggle into the sand.It must work pretty well against predators when they are being chased.Pretty neat looking though.
