FASTING NORTHERN PINES?

IS IT VERY COMMON FOR PINE SNAKES TO FAST? MINE HAS BEEN FASTING SINCE ITS LAST SHED ABOUT 17 DAYS AGO, I KNOW ITS PROBOBLY NORMAL BUT I WAS JUST CURIOUS

It's not uncommon for males to fast this time of year, usually until end of May or so.

My adult male will fast for about 2 months or so or until he breeds, whichever comes first. (that's male for ya'). Last year, he just moved constantly for several weeks without so much as even showing interest in food. Put him with a female, did his thing, and all was normal after that.
