How big before breeding female?

anson Mar 28, 2005 02:41 PM

I have an 03 that is 32 inches long. Can I breed her yet. I just bred my 02 38 inch long female 2 weeks ago and wondered if the 32 inch female was large enough yet. What is a good breeding weight? I am used to having ball pythons so they all look too small to breed to me. LOL

Since it is only a year and a half old I would not breed her. It is possible, but let her mature another year and continue to grow nicely as she has, and you'll be rewarded with not only a much bigger mother but many larger clutches in the future.
