Grab your guns, lets go boys (and girls)!! I am just kidding, but those sort of things really piss me off. One person is afraid of a snake so an entire city of people suffer. It really gets me because it is so close to home. I am in Akron, Ohio about 100 miles away, and there are many irresponsible keepers here in my area.

No I meant what I said, I wish that I was wrong. That's why it worries me sooo much, although you are right there are also many people in my area who care for their snakes the way they should. I just think they need to have more open minded people in Counsel.

I have only been to one. I wouldnt mind going back, however, I work on saturdays and they only have the show on saturdays. So, now I always miss it. I have been meaning to go there to buy some rodents because they are cheaper at the shows and my gator is ALWAYS hungry. Oh well. Thats life I guess.

I am a student at B.G.S.U. (the schoool/city) in that article. I do not know the author, but am familiar with another person in the article. Anyway, at the university there is a herp. lab that houses a fair number of animals including constrictors. This lab puts on demos and expos throughout the university at times, and because of them I am familiar with this law. I "have a friend" who owns a constrictor in the city. (mmmm hmmm) As well I realize and can say (unfourtanetly) from personal expierence that there are indeed people...college students, who own constrictors, and shouldn't. As well there are also atleast a few people that illegally owning constrictors, and do so safely and properly. I say this from personal acquaintences, and from the vast amount of feeder mice and rats sold at the two local pet shops. Anyway I found that article interesting, thanks for sharing. ps i have been to the all ohio show...very cool..plan to go back some time soon
