I have just recieved two very small chuckwalls from a friend, and I was wondering how to take care of them..... if you can help please do...

Hi, I don't know HOW young these guys are your talking about, but start with a roomy enclosure. I keep my adult chucks basking spot at about 95 - 100 , some say 110 , the cool side is in the 80's room temp for my reptile room, with all the other lights going.

* Chucks love leafy greens, flowers,some fruit, I chop up collard greens, tunip greens, kale, romaine, shredded radishes, shredded carrot, shredded sweet potato, squash, green beans, peas, many veggies, try things.

** They absolutely LOVE dandelines, the greens and the flower, they eat these in the wild all the time. I pick clover, and many green weeds that grow on my side walks, dont know the names I call them weeds they love them.

* Small chunks of banana are taken gladly and looked upon as treats

* Always make sure they are pesticide free places in which you pick flowers or grass/weeds from.

* They like rose pedals, pansies, day lilies, and many other flowers, you can as our forum buddies more about them,

** Give user dvl a holler he keeps his chucks outside and he knows a bucket load of flowers and things they eat outside.

** Also tgreb has a ton of info he can share also

I do offer my chucks especially YOUNG chucks a shallow saucer of water.
