yes they do i use vermicalite,works best

2 part to 1 part water{ or wet but not soking wet

2 parts vermiculite to 1 part water? that sounds awfully wet. what is your hatch rate success? I may want to try your way if its good? thanks Ron

sorry i meant 4 part vermicalite and 1 part water ,
hatch rate is 95%.

I use perlie and get around 95-100% hatch rate, i soak it in warm water, drain all the water out then put a layer of dry on the top and put it in the incubater ready for the eggs to be laid.
