how much are columbian rainbow boas worth?

jv4man1 Jul 09, 2003 05:17 PM

I've got a male '02 columbian rainbow boa. Not sure how much to ask for it. Can't seem to find any for sale to compare prices with. Any help is greatly appreciated. And for those volunteer forum police, this is not an attempt to sell a snake without a classified account, I've got one. -Jarrod

What did you pay for it?? you can find them starting out for 125.00 up to 200.00 bucks. I just paid 175.00 for a 03, but the markings and colors were killer..

I sell my neonates for $50.00. After they have shed once and fed several times.

Neonates usually run $50-$60 at most expos where I've seen them. A yearling would probably sell for around $75-$125 as the others said. The Colombian rainbows are usually as sought after as their more colorful Brazilian cousins and therefore don't command the same prices. It's a shame really, they're great snakes (have an adult male myself).
