I had recently found a bright orange salamander with black spots, about six inches long in a creek in central Pennsylvania. Ive never seen this here before any idea what it was?
it could be a spring salamander, long-tailed salamander, mud salamander, or red salamander.
most likely it was some kind of spring or red salamander.
i need a better description to know which one.
What shape were the spots?
were there spots on the belly?
what size were the spots?
was there a black line running from the eye to the nostril?
what color were its eyes?
wat size was it?
do u have a pic?
