Sorry to hear you received your geckos in such a state. Deffinitely talk to the person who sold them, ask for a refund or replacements. Explain that there was no cooling packs in the package to keep them cool at such a high external temperature. I really do hope you get your money back or at the very least, have three more replacement geckos equal or greater value shipped to you properly.
Though this incident does emphase my reluctance to order any valued animal through mail. I would rather drive 4-5 hours one way to pick up an animal I can be sure will be transported safely. So far all my animals I have picked up myself either at reptile shows or from breeders. It's more difficult at times, if nobody in your area sells them or even to find nicer looking animals, but I just don't want to worry about the hassel of getting refunds or replacements if I receive a DOA. About the only thing living I order online are feeder insects. So far I have had good luck with that, despite having them shipped to old addresses even after informing them of my new address. Only ever had a few dead insects, mostly squished between the flaps of the box, which may have happened during packaging. But I always recieved more than I order to cover incidental loses like that.
