I was wondering if people who are interested would post some examples of their differnet Pituophis and their size and age. I want to get a feel for what size the different species and subspecies get. Thanks!

Locality het albino TX bull-appr. 4 foot in 2 1/2 years.

Matt,
The daughter is about 6 1/2 foot not 5 1/2, sorry. Even their eggs are huge! My female doubled clutched 2 years ago laying 18 then 14. Last year she only laid 9. This year should be another good year. Ron

I have really enjoyed the pictures of those big monsters that you have there! I'm asking this question because i have a feeling I will be getting some more Pits. sometime this fall and I will probably be wanting to build some type of rack system and am interested in how quickly these snakes get big. Therefore, I am really gratefull for your responses!
I have a 7 month old Kankakee, IL bull female that is 34 inches at 7 months old. I'm hoping she gets big someday.

Nice to say the least, I love to see what the hatchlings end up looking like, it makes paying attention to the specific lines worthwhile to me. Thanks for posting the picture. I believe this is the father to your animals, the female is more of a yellow phase. Yours is a really neat animal with the yellow coming thru instead of the pink/red.
Thanks again,

Hi
I have a pair of wild caught Sonoran gophers, female is 45 inches, around 350 g; male is slightly smaller, 250-260 g. Can anyone offer an educated guess of how old could they be? I am not sure if they are ready to breed at this size…
Thanks.
I would say they're both breedable, but I like for my females to be at least 4 feet before breeding them(exceptions: Pacifics and San Diegos).
