brown liquid in defecation

Bovox Mar 29, 2005 07:15 PM

Can someone tell me what this may indicate? I was given this adult male IJ carpet, and I've had him for a few months, and he's defecated around three to four times, and there has been a lot of brown, smelly discharge.

Could be a sign of an internal infection of some sort....could be worms, coccidia, pseudomonas, or some other infection. I'd suggest taking in a fresh sample of it to your vet for identification and treatment.
Good luck.
