how long can a hatchling stay in the incubator?

boastud Jul 09, 2003 05:46 PM

I am going to be gone the weekend of my clutches hatch date. The date is on a saturday, and i am leaving thursday-sunday. If they hatch on saturday, would it be ok to be in there for a couple of days?

In general, yes they will be okay for many days actually.
However, if you are using a hobavator-type incubator, make sure
they cannot climb on the heating element!

Good luck!

I have them in a safty hatch incubator, with a shipping box, and a piece of glass on top. Will the 89.4 be too hot?

That temp will be fine!
