Centillion,
...If you like bright orange BRBs pick the lighter colored baby. If you like red BRBs pick the darker baby. Possible downside to either choice though. The light one can turn a sandy light color rather than bright orange and the dark one can turn too dark instead of bright red. To improve your chances pick several of each.
Good Luck,
Jeff

I must admit...so far the ones I choose weren't always the best. I suggest choosing ones that are well defined with as little "flecking" as possible. I can't offer an accurate opinion on how to choose for color, but the black seems to remain the same in my limited experience. Like Jeff said..the best option is to buy a few to raise and then choose the one(s) that best suit your liking. I prefer lighter than darker ones because they seem to darken as they mature. The red ones (2.2) I purchased last summer as neonates are still not red and are changing with each shed, but I still have very little idea which will be to my utmost color preference. Also the 1.1 I bought in Dec 03 that I thought I didn't like so much(as far as predicted color)have turned out very different than I thought they would just 6 months ago. I say just choose a robust baby and enjoy the intersesting changes to come.
