You neednt be concerned .You probally will be pleased .She was either laying eggs or will lay eggs tonight . Assuming you have a male or shes had acess to a male within the last few months.
Be sure to look on any of the fine websites for incubation of the eggs. The substrate needs to be moist but not too moist.
If all goes well in a couple of months youll have 2 new lil cresties
.
when i used to have planted vivariums my females would bury to and there was no male, if you have a male she may be trying to lay eggs, if you dont, she is probably just burying. i never could find a reason why they do it, but it does not seem harmful to them in any way and they seem to like it so it never concerned me, i had one female that would bury all of herself but her head and stay that way for most of the day. it was pretty funny.

Nothing to be concerned about. Ive had both males and females do this so it doesn't always imply that the gecko in question will soon be laying eggs.
Im pretty sure its a humidity thing. Mine typically did it before shedding. If you think about it, direct contact with moist soil is more likely to loosen up the skin on the feet, the area most geckos seem to have trouble with when they shed.
Just one of the quirky behaviors that make crestes such fun.
All of my cresteds spend the whole day under the moss in the bottom of their cages. I don't know why. There are plenty of high spots for them to sleep, but the only time they utilize the spots is to hunt.
