wagging tail

mistysprouse Mar 30, 2005 11:45 AM

Well I put my male albino in with one of my normal girls. I went to check on them later and she was heading into her hide and I caught her wagging her tail, never seen that one before. Found it interesting. Still no lock up with these two I think she is still has some more weight to put on she went off food from oct- beg of march. Anyway anyone else see these little odd things like the tail wagging?

THis is my first year of breeding. When I put My male in with my female I noticed my femal wagging her tail. I noticed this was something that happend almost every time I put them togeather. They bred and she just gave me eggs so I wouldn't worry about it.

I have seen tail wagging in unreceptive females. Apparently, according to the last post, it doesn't mean they won't breed, it may just mean they don't really want to breed. I guess you can decide if you want to breed them or not. Good luck either way.

well I left them together and finally when I checked on them this morning they were finally locked up. This was my second attempt with this female the first was a few months ago. Maybe she was playing hard to get or something.
