Yippee!!!

I finally got my first VISUAL morph today! No more normal-looking hets for me! No siree! I'm a full-fledged morph-totin' Albino-havin' son of a gun!

Sundance (as I like to call him) is a 600g spermplug-slingin' High Contrast Albino male...and I love him. =)

ADDED BONUS FEATURE: He came with FREE mites, too! (Only a couple, but they count!) Now I can use my arsenal of Provent-A-Mite and Reptile Relief that I've been storing for just this sort of occassion. =)

That's right folks...my first VISUAL morph and my first MITE infestation...both in the same day!!! =)

I'm so giddy! =)

Now I know why God invented the quarantine rack.

Although I have to admit...he does look nicer in person. The photos do him absolutely no justice. I just can't seem to get around that damned red-eye effect.

I guess I jumped the gun on the snake mite issue. It seems they may not be snake mites after all. The breeder replied to an email I sent, and while he doesn't have mites...he did have a recent outbreak of little "wood bug" mite-looking critters. We compared notes (as well as online photos) and it doesn't look like mites at all. Therefore...I guess I'm still a mite virgin after all. =(
