KevinN Jul 09, 2003 06:25 PM

When I was looking at the most recent issue of Reptiles, I noticed adds for these new bearded dragon pellets/dry food.
JurassiPet, Natue Zone Bearded Dragon Bites & Monster Diets. Has anyone tried any of these. If so comments. I now use Rep-Cal

I haven't tried any that you listed, but I have been using another complete diet. It's called Veggie Growth Formula. It was developed at SDR and is distributed by t-rex. It is a powdered complete diet that uses veggies as the delivery method. I have had great results with it so far.

I have The repcal, and t-rex pellets. And the nature zone moist food. I mix all these with their greens and give them bowl fulls of mixed pellets too. Each one has a different smell and flavor. And most of my dragons have favorite colors of the pellets too. They will eat only certian colors. I dont give just pellets they are mixed so I wouldnt know which one works the best if you wanted to give just pellets. I believe variety is the best. They do eat all three with no problem though.
