My kenmore AC System just went on the blink Tuesday night. Unfortunately Sears did not honor their same day service contract. It took more than 36 hours for them to come fix the problem. My main concern was the health of my 10 breeders, including two albinos, several hets and piebald hets. As the temps reached 92 degrees I was starting to get alarmed. As a precaution I filled small zip lock bags with ice cubes and placed one in each habitat to allow for self regulation. I also made sure there was plenty of water available. It worked perfectly. My reptiles were quite confortable throughout the night. Today I purchased a self contained Maytag AC for a backup. Just thought I would share my solution.
