msg for Darin Chappel & Others, re mutiple snakes in one cage

raisnok Mar 30, 2005 07:12 PM

i just wanted to say thanx for posting the info on keeping mutliple snakes in one cage.
being a beginner snake keeper, i was thinking about getting another snake to put with my corn i recently got, but was waiting to think it out...... see every pro and con of keep more than one snake together.... im really glad that i have taken the time to come on this board and read posts everyday, most of the people i know think i am silly for readiing the board every day, but i for one think even though i have learned the "basics"
i still feel that i have a whole lot more that i can learn, and would like to learn..... one of the things i am really trying to learn is heating, ambient air temps and gradients.
but to everyone here thanx for the info.

We were all beginners at this at one time or another, and we all relied on the experience of others to get us started. So, don't hesitate for a second to ask anything at any time.

There are LOTS of people who are WAY more knowledgeable than I am about any aspect of corns and their care, but we can all learn from one another and pass that knowledge on to others, if we will. I am too greatful to even express what I have gained from Don Soderberg, Kathy Love, Chuck Pritzel, Rich Z., and so many others.

The key to all of this is, in my opinion, the willingness to learn, balanced with the willingness to experiment in your own vivarium. No rule is set in stone in the corn world of husbandry, but most are there because many, MANY good keepers have tried other ways and been less than successful.

Thanks for your kind words, and I am glad that we ALL could help at bit.

well i know i seem to ask alot of questions, but thats how you learn, another thing is just to take some time to read post on here, alot of them have information that you might not feel you need at this time but it maybe useful at a later time.
