ARGHHHH I dont know what kind of snake to get.

Please help me decide. I really want a jungle carpet python, or a columbian boa, but both get entirely too big for me. Right now I have a 3 1/2 ft ball python. I love him so much. I want something else that has similar size, and temperment to him. I dont think rat snakes, or corn snakes are my cup of tea. I really like pythons and boas, but I dont know what kind. I really want something in the 4 ft range, and definately no bigger than 5 ft. I want something that can be tamed, and handled, and is curious, and has a personality. I really dont know too much about what options are available. can anyone make any suggestions?

A male Irian Jaya Carpet Python! Very similar care to a ball python and they are a better handling snake because they don't stress as easy, easy to tame, awesone colours, and the males are usually in the 3.5-5 foot range. They have an awesome personality too.

Rainbow boas are pretty awesome. So are Indian sand boas. Although I wouldn't rule out a kingsnake if I were you. I think they rock pretty hard.

Rosy Boas are suppost to be pretty nice. They aren't the most attractive but I think they would make a good companion at a nice size and temperment, it's something different.

hey i would try a corn, i wasn't impressed with them much myself untill i got one now i got 6, or try a brazilian rainbow boa, the corns are easier to maintain but they are hogs when it comes to feeding, but the brazilians are a little more technical in the husbandry dept
