The Hybino is a result of multi generation selective breeding combining the hypo tangerine and the albino genes. I agree with gcs that the genetic terminology does not make sense.
But the term hypo is also very mis-used when we talk about leos. Not that this justifies anything, but just an example. The term hybino has been used to describe mostly colubrids that are double homozygous for both the hypomelanistic and albino genes, so I assume the name was crossed over into leos.
Anyways genetic terminology aside I think they are awesome leos and I cant wait to see what they will produce. Here is a current pic of the male and his mate.
