Two weeks ago , I opened this girls tub to find her in an inverted positon. Today she started her shed cycle(went blue). Do ONLY pregnant females lay like this? She had a pretty huge meal the week before(two large rats). Any help would be great. Thanks

I'm hoping for your sake that she's gravid. However, I just
wanted to let you know that ball pythons sometimes lay like that
even when they are not gravid. I even have MALES that do it
occasionally! Best of luck.

I sort of doubt she is gravid because usually snakes do not eat once they get as close to laying as she would be were she inverting due to eggs.

My snakes (male and female, of all ages and sizes) often invert if they are fed large meals - and since you mentioned her having a big meal recently I'd say that is why she is inverted. I hope she's gravid, but I sure would not count on it.
