Do snakes only shed if their growing

can stress play a factor or maybe a skin irritation i got some fems who absolutely show NOOOOO interest in food but most have them have shed 2x since christmas(when i recieved them) is that normal now i have a ltc who does eat occasionally and she has only shed for me 2x for the 1.5 years i have had her

growing,shrinking,cut,sore,sick,just have worn out skin.......

tey shed all the time.........just not as much maybe..if hurt they will shed more.........

And besides, they really never stop growing. They slow down as they age, but don't stop.

so are u sying the snake decides when it will shed,i think they are shedding so much because when i recieved them they soaked in water for 2 weeks str8 to the point they got water blisters i immediatly cut the humidity down and gave much smaller water bowls so is it possible they are shedding out the blistered skin

yes they will shed due to the skin blisters to make the skin better and new..to get rid of diseases.....

...they do always grow.....

yet.if they do not eat...they will actually shrink in size....and still shed...........
