I have wanted a pair of gillens, brevicauda, caudolineatus or other very small monitor and really don't find them here. I do see them in classifieds from Australia. I am asking the experienced people if it is possible to have them shipped here or is it cost prohibitive (or illegal) for a single individual to do so? Thanks for any information.

My question was answered by an Australian breeder, I guess it can't be done from Australia.

Sent to zoos outside of their country. Their wildlife is protected from export, and they dont allow imports either from what I hear.
