my sister found him dead yesterday while i was at work, i dont really know what was wrong with him all the vet could find were elevated calcium levels, i fed him and soaked him everyday but the last five days you could visably see him loosing weight then the last two or three days he pretty much crashed, wouldnt walk wouldnt open his eyes and was very weak. the last morning he had more strength and put up a little bit of a fight wehn i tryed to feed him so i thought maybe he was getting a little better but i guess not. i really miss him him and expect i will for a long time. he was my first bearded dragon and helped me learn alot about them, and i'll never forget him.
i do wish i would have found him a mate so i could have a baby from him but it just didnt happen , i have a few drawing of him around, i'll have to did up a nice one to put up somewhere for him

I'm so sorry about your loss. It's nice to know that you can come here to tell people about the dragons with other dragon lovers knowing that we care for them so much and understand that they aren't just cold-blooded unfeeling reptiles.... Again, so sorry and I understand your pain..

i am so sorry to hear bout you loss. i too lost my first pair of beardies, but i have two babies from them left, and they are looking alot like OJ and Nicole ( named them that after the first time i saw them mate ) I lost mine to beginner's flub up and macho b.s... I was at pet store and they were giving away newts so I asked the guy if they could eat them and he said sure no prob. took them home fed each of them 2 newts, Nicole was dead within 10 minutes OJ held out for 2 weeks. Such a dumb way for my beardies to die, I still feel like such and a-hole over that. Anyways maybe you should have an autopsy done, sounds like blockage or liver failure to me.....again sorry to hear this and I hope you find a new beardie that brings you much joy!!
