well ive been think of purchasing a blue tegu because ive read that it is one of the smaller tegus out there so thats what i was lookin for ive heard the max it can get it 3.5feet which is perfect for me. Is that actaully how large it can get and do they get pretty tame the blue tegus, also what am i expecting to pay like 100$ or more. i have a huge cage to use also so space is not a problem. If anyone could post pictures of there blue tegus it would be greatly appreaciated, thx in advance

Blue tegus can get 4' and 12lbs. I would get a female blue if you want a lizard that size. My female is 3'3" and 5 1/2-6 lbs. Thanks Russ

yea ive been think more and more and think ill get a b&w instead of a blue but still lovely i hope to tame it really well

Santiago is a Blk&wht. He is 4' 3"- 4' 4" tl. Snt to vent is 21" and wieght is 18 lbs. THanks Rus
