timors need plenty of room to hide and climb. a nice dirt or dirt/sand mixture for substrate and plenty of it (they also like to dig, and dig under things too so be careful about that). for an adult timor, bigger is better. i'd say a MINIMUM (and i mean bare minimum) of a 65 gallon tall, or something with similar dimensions. they would do best in a cage that is not all glass (they can be a bit jumpy, the less things to pass into their field of vision and spook them, the better). as far as temps go, they need around a 130-135 basking spot, ambient temp in the high 70s, low 80s. they are tough and love to eat, in my experience. pinkies and crickets are my staple with the occasional superworm or mealworm. canned food if i'm really desperate (like the store is out of pinks and cricks) but not usually.
