I heard there is a non-venomous snake that hoods up like a cobra, can anyone please help me with the name of it? I am nowhere near experienced enough to handle a hot snake, but i love the look of hooded snakes. thank.

Hognose snakes do as a scare tactic...but after a while in captivity it becomes less of a occurence.

It's called the False Water Cobra...a rather nasty rear fang from South America that has a serious bite.
