Question

I wanted to know how long is too long to go without a UVB source and a calcium supplement? We got our beardie and he is about 7-8 inches total length, and we had a financial situation and were unable to get a uvb light, or the calcium supplement for almost 2 weeks is he going to be ok?

From the sounds of it you have now rectified the situation and bought both a UVB bulb and supplements, if this is the case then going the two weeks without them shouldnt make a difference. As long as he has them now and will always have them in the future

for a young growing dragon, having UVB and calcium is very important. They may be ok for a few days to a week but 2 weeks certainly could be risky. If you can't get the UVB bulb or calcium with d3, bring him outside in the sun for about an hour a day, if the weather is warm enough. If not, get the powder at least. That can hold him off till you get a proper uvb bulb.
