male age for breeding.....

My pastel male is 400 gram and 7 to 8 months old. do you guys feel that he might be ready. also how would i be able to tell?

make better breeders & they are tougher to hurt. I would wait until next year to even show him a girl, you'll be glad you waited.

It wouldn't hurt to introduce him to a female and see what happens, but most likely it will be nothing. I wouldn't put him in with a female much larger than 1500 grams. Next year he should be ready for sure.
