Alright, now I have a whole new slew of questions. The first one is, since Sage ate, he seems to be less active. Is this normal? He ate around 2pm est this evening. He has barely came out of his hide. Is this normal?

Yes, this is normal. It will be 24-48 hours before they get active agian. Mine is sleeping off a meal right now from last night but she will be out tomorrow! It is like taking a nap after Thanksgiving dinner 
!

I have noticed slower and less behavior after meals also. I think its normal.
The exciting part is, I have a corn named Sage too! She is a 2002 normal...whats yours?
