Hello,
Well my hypo pyro laid 6 eggs may 29th, she fed well after laying them and loooked as if she was gravid again, so I put her with the male, only 2x cause she started to go through her shed cycle, she shed on the 2nd and is laying today, she has 1 out and has 2 left to go, so her 2nd clutch is half of the first, all 6 eggs from her 1st clutch went rotten, but it wasnt the male cause her sister-(a 66% poss. het/hypo) also laid 6 eggs and was bred x the same het male, those eggs should be hatching in about 3-4 weeks. So hopefully i can get some good eggs from her this time. Well just wanted to share.

PS, my het/applegate pyro that was bred x an applegate male also dropped 4 good eggs today, so its been a good day here for pyro eggs.

Pyros just don't double clutch that often. I think I have only ever heard of it being done twice. One of those was by Bob Applegate, though he may have done it again since as that was a number of years ago. Congrats on the eggs. I am sitting on some no black applegate eggs also.
