I would hazard a guess that she was stressed or too cool and prematurely kicked out her egg case. But that is just a guess.

roach "miscarriages" of a sort, when the humidity dropped too low. Increase the humidity and you shouldn't see this again. If you do, you might want to try raising the temps as well, which would aid in increasing the ambient humidity.
