To all the experts that can give me advice....

Here is my situation:
I have a corn which is approx 7 months old. I recieved it when it was a hatchling. I regularly handled the snake, almost daily, until this past may after graduating college. i have been working full time and i havent handled the snake more than 2x since may and now it is very defensive. It never comes out of its hide because it peeks out and continues hiding. Last week i placed post-it-notes along the lower section of the glass on the tank so it cannot see me from ground level. NOW it moves all around the tank for the first time ever when it cant see me but when i look into the tank to see what its doing, it goes back to hide. It even snapped on my finger when i tried to move her to the feeding container..........

Now after thats all been said, what should i do?
Should i continue to leave the post-it-notes there?
Also, should i even attempt to try to handle the snake anymore?

Thanks.
