Pied questions

jmartin104 Apr 01, 2005 08:19 AM

What is the lowest amount of white you have ever seen on a pied?

Are/can ringer characteristics present in het pieds?

>>What is the lowest amount of white you have ever seen on a pied?

A female with just a ringer sized spot (about an 1/2 an inch) on her, but the rest of her pattern you could clearly see she was pied.

I think the general concensus the last time this was discussed was a wavering no.

Ralph has hatched out some het pieds that were also ringers. They were not pieds though - no cool striping pattern.

Good luck with your pair Jay!

Thanks Christy. I spoke with Ralph and sure enough, he has produced het pieds that have ringer characteristics. I guess I was just surprised to see it.
