Scuttlebutt's been mopey ever since I got him - he eats a little, but hasn't been lively. Doug Dix finally sent me a mild antibiotic and a disposable feeding needle (about 3 inches long) to give him. It arrived yesterday, so I intended to give the first dose today. I'm pretty sure the threat of that feeding needle had something to do with Scuttlebutt being out and perky as heck today, eating from my fingers and being all bright-eyed and cute. I wouldn't want that thing jammed down my throat, either! He even voluntarily ate parsnip, and NOBODY does that!
