Behavior Question...

bRIANd Jul 09, 2003 08:37 PM

I have had my beardie for about 10 months and she is probably about a year old. I house her in a 2x3 vision cage. she used to hide from the glass front. Now she sits strugling to get out a lot. just scratching back and forth at the glass. Is this normal? I thought maybe she just wants a friend in there with her. Thanks BrianD

She does want out...
they need a little time to run free. Cabin fever.

Cage could be a little small for an adult beardie as well. THe commonly recommended minimum is a 4'x2'x2' enclosure for a single dragon. Letting her out to explore is a good ideal as well.
